At Gurglhof, families will find ideal conditions for an uncomplicated holiday. A games room, the swimming pool and spacious communal areas offer plenty of space for shared time and variety. The culinary offering is also well catered for children. For our younger guests, we either put together a dedicated children’s menu or, during the main season, offer a varied children’s buffet.

Our family rooms and suites are specially designed to meet the needs of parents and children. They accommodate up to six people and, depending on the category, feature separate sleeping areas as well as two bathrooms and toilets. Spacious rooms provide plenty of space for playing, relaxing and spending time together. This ensures plenty of room for relaxed holiday days even while staying at the hotel.
Small swings, big ski fun
Right in front of the hotel begins the family-friendly ski area of Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. Wide, clearly marked slopes and varied descents provide ideal conditions for beginners, families and experienced winter sports enthusiasts. In the ski schools, children learn their first turns playfully or improve their technique together with professional ski instructors. Meanwhile, parents can enjoy the slopes and the high-alpine winter landscape.
Winter adventures off-piste
Even without skis, there’s plenty to discover in Obergurgl. Group tobogganing sessions provide fun and exercise, while winter hikes through the snowy mountain landscape promise peaceful nature experiences. Cross-country skiing, snowy walks and trips to the surrounding area add variety to family holidays and make winter in the Ötztal Valley an unforgettable experience in many ways.
