Accessibility Statement

Accessibility Statement

We are committed to making our website accessible in accordance with § 76 of the Tyrolean Equality and Anti-Discrimination Act (TGADG), LGBl. No. 39/2026, to implement Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications.

This accessibility statement applies to www.hotel-obergurgl-gurglhof.com

Further information on the contract conclusion (description of our services, explanations on the performance of our services) can be found at: https://www.hotel-obergurgl-gurglhof.com/recht/agb/

Current compliance status with requirements

This website is partially compliant with the AA level of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1" and with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) under Directive (EU) 2016/2102, due to the following non-conformities and exceptions.

In our ongoing development of the website, we also follow the WCAG 2.2 guidelines.

Non-accessible content

The following content is not accessible for the reasons listed below:

a) Incompatibility with Accessibility Requirements

  • Some non-text content on non-booking-relevant pages currently lacks text alternatives, partially violating criterion 1.1.1 – Text Alternatives. It is planned to provide appropriate text alternatives for all such content.

Incompatibilities are reviewed regularly to ensure ongoing improvements and timely implementation of necessary adjustments to enable accessible use.

b) Disproportionate Burden

  • Input fields in the application form on the career page lack labels or ARIA attributes, failing to meet the following criteria:

    1.3.5 – Identify Input Purpose
    2.4.6 – Headings and Labels
    2.5.3 – Label in Name
    3.3.2 – Labels or Instructions
    4.1.2 – Name, Role, Value
Additionally, the form fails to meet:

    3.3.1 – Error Identification
    3.3.3 – Error Suggestion
    4.1.3 – Status Messages
As this form is intended exclusively for job applicants and not booking-related, fully redesigning it would represent a disproportionate burden.

  • At 200% zoom, some text elements in the header overlap, violating criterion 1.4.4 – Resize Text. Fixing this would require a website redesign, which constitutes a disproportionate burden.

  • At 200% zoom, a horizontal scrollbar appears in the submenu, violating criterion 1.4.10 – Reflow. A fix would also require redevelopment and is considered a disproportionate burden.

  • When adjusting text spacing (including line height, paragraph spacing, letter, and word spacing), some footer links overlap. This violates criterion 1.4.12 – Text Spacing. Addressing this would require a full redesign, representing a disproportionate burden.

  • On the English-language version of the website, alternative texts and accessible labels are currently not consistently provided in the respective page language. This constitutes a violation of Success Criterion 3.1.2 – Language of Parts. Addressing this issue would require extensive editorial and technical adjustments, which would represent a disproportionate burden. A gradual improvement is planned as part of future revisions.

c) Content Outside the Scope of Applicable Legislation

  • The website includes older documents and content that are not accessible. As they were published before June 28, 2025, they are exempt from the requirements of the Accessibility Act, and no comprehensive adaptations are currently planned.
  • The website contains documents and content from third-party providers that were neither developed, funded, nor controlled by us. We cannot guarantee their accessibility, and these are also exempt from the Accessibility Act.

Creation of the accessibility statement

This statement was created on 13.03.2025 and updated on 13.08.2026.

The assessment of the website’s compliance with the Accessibility Act was conducted as a self-test in accordance with the WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidelines.
